DS Thakur – Founder, DS STUDIO I am DS Thakur, a passionate visual storyteller and the founder of DS Studio. My journey in the world of photography and filmmaking began when I dropped out of Mass Media School in 2015 to pursue my deep-rooted love for films and photography. During my time in media school, I invested in my first professional camera, the Canon 70D, and soon after, I started freelancing with RJ Production, which laid the foundation for my creative career. I had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Mr. Paresh Maheta, one of the most respected names in the photography industry and the personal photographer of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. This invaluable experience allowed me to work on prestigious projects such as (KBC) sets, high-profile events, and luxury weddings. With a growing passion for creating visually compelling narratives, I launched DS Thakur Photography, specializing in food photography for the hospitality industry. Over the years, I honed my craft, building a strong reputation in the commercial photography space. In 2024, I expanded my vision and founded DS Studio, marking my foray into the world of wedding filmmaking. Today, I continue to serve as a candid photographer and cinematographer, blending creativity with authentic storytelling to capture timeless moments for weddings and events.
